Recipe testing days are always so much fun. Especially when it turns out successful. This B(ougie).L.T is an excellent addition to our current menu. I love that two people can enjoy it their way with a few tweaks. We did a vegetarian option and another option that included bacon and a fried egg. Both were OUTSTANDING!! The waffle itself is garlic and parmesan...so yummy.

So we affectionately call the truck "The Sweet Chick" (named after our most popular waffle. It takes a lot to get this trailer fired up but once she is going...she does AMAZING!

Tik Tok made me do it! It is no secret that The Bougie Waffle makes amazing waffles, but we make delicious sweet treats all around. When it came to this tik tok viral recipe, I knew that we had to throw our spin on it. After all, we make THE BEST sweet potato waffles around...this didn't seem to be much of a stretch.

Spent the night stocking and prepping the food truck for business at a brewery.

Sometimes I look around and wonder how I am managing a full-time business, a full-time gig, family, friends... It is all just a lot! The day I can focus on the business solely will be a day to celebrate. There is NOTHING sexy, or appealing, there is nothing attractive about hustling 24/7. Everyone needs rest... REST is an act of RESISTANCE!!
